Recently got a hold of another set of S2K projectors, but this time around its the AP1s with clear lens so I made another set =D. The old set has already been spoken for. I made it the same way as the last one with the AP2s, just added a little touch here and there. I used the original headlights that came with my car, so I had to repaint the shroud as they were faded. I sanded them down and used the Duplicolor Trim Paint. While trying to perserve the chrome accent on the projector bezel using blue painters tape, it peeled out the chrome plating. It wasn't a bad thing, as it now has the brushed alumin look to it. This time around I pushed the projector out the furthest as possible, nearly touching the shroud and had to cut some off the back a little. The width of the light pattern and brightness is almost the same as the AP2s, the clear lens instead of the fresnel one seems to make it more crisp. THe cutoff beam comes out whole lot cleaner though. Pics will explain the rest.
